“The Youth Orchestra of Bucks County provides students in grades 4 through 12 with advanced musical training to enhance and supplement their school programs.
Based on level of mastery, students are placed in one or more of our eight core ensembles that include string-only groups, concert bands, and full orchestras. In addition to our weekly Sunday rehearsals during the school year, YOBC offers students opportunities for peer mentoring, chamber ensembles, advanced performing opportunities, and professionally run master classes for all instrumental groups. For our older students, we also offer international musical performance tours.

The Youth Orchestra of Bucks County has been an instrumental part of my music development. For the past eight years, YOBC has allowed me to flourish as a musician. I joined as a quiet kid almost scared to play, but through the great conductors and playing opportunities provided to me, I am a much more confident musician and person.
This is why I obviously chose to work with YOBC when it came time to donate the instruments. I have really benefitted from the organization, and I hope to let others do the same. YOBC is using the instruments I overhaul in their school outreach programs and donating the instruments to the schools they work with.
