I purchased this instrument for $125. Before my work began, it played most notes, but keys were sticking, pads were leaking, felts were rotten, and corks were falling off. After fully disassembling the saxophone, I gave the body and neck a chemical sanitizing flush. I soaked the pads with a leather softener and reseated them on the tone holes. I also replaced all of the damaged felts and corks. I then gave the instrument a full tune up to ensure it was in perfect playing condition.
Along with the saxophone, two mouthpieces including a Meyer 5 were also donated to Franklin Middle School in Bristol Township.
